Prof. Lee is a active clinician scientist in the field of retina and vascular biology. He is studying how retina and choroid maintain normal structure function in terms of vascular homeostasis.

 

His research interests include

-Physiology and neurovascular interactions in the retina and choroid

-Regulation of blood and lymphatic vessels in the eye
-Uultrastructure of retinal and  choroidal blood vessels

-Pericyte-endothelial interaction in the development of chorioretinal diseases

-Molecular pathogenesis of age-related macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy

-Clinical ophthalmology in the field of retinal diseases
